Beef Pie

I had left over prime rib (Right? Who has that!! We alway do because I mess it up and it tastes better as a pie the next day! I sautéed some onions and garlic, when they were tender, I added the beef, flour and butter paste, and one package of gravy mix with some stock. I let the beef simmer for about an hour. I also added some Brandy to the gravy. (And my secret ingredient, a few squeezes of 57 sauce.) I used frozen peas and carrots, just mixing in lightly with the heat off. Meanwhile, I had no potatoes so I fried some french fries and cubed them when they were done, put them in last with the beef and gravy, mixed just lightly to blend in. Let cool. I used the recipe on the crisco box for the pie crust. It was very flaky! Put in 400 degree oven for almost an hour. Let stand for about 5 minutes before slicing.
